MISSION STATEMENT
Expressions is a web based application that was designed to meet the simple need of helping Educators create better lesson plans for the 21st Century. Traditional Lesson plans are one-dimensional, flat and can only be used by the instructor. We aim to reinvent this process. Lesson plans should be interactive, dynamic, rich in multimedia, pedagogically proven, and most of all be part of the student experience.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Expressions works through the inquiry process, by asking teachers through a simple GUI survey format the type of lesson plan they want to develop. Our application will then help to filter content, provide a synopsis / preview of educationally reviewed resources from various sources, and help generate a dynamic interactive lesson plan that can be directly used by both instructors and students. These interactive lesson plans can directly be shared, posted, printed or added to any LMS system. Our product essentially reinvents the creation, delivery, and execution of a learning plan, leaving more time for teachers to do what they love, teaching. Development Note: Our product is currently available as a fully featured web based application with a slimmed down mobile version for on the go work and sharing functionality.

REVENUE & PRICING MODEL
Our Primary revenue and pricing model will revolve around subscriptions. We hope to directly establish relationships with schools and institutions with a buy in program through their library services. Like many school based library subscriptions we hope that this channel will give us an "in route" to the institutions without most of the administrative red tape. Our services will be directly offered to the library where they can serve as a point of distribution, control, and local tech support.
Our Second source of revenue is situated in the mobile market. Although it is not as robust as the web based application, we hope to offer this up through a "freemium" model largely to create brand / product awareness of our main web application. The mobile app will be able to create lesson plans, but access to database searches will be limited, unless your school has bought in or you personally upgrade.
